We proudly present the McLaren Senna Sound Library. A collection of sound effects packed full of all the roars, whirrs, howls and whistles that you would expect from a hypercar of this calibre. With the most powerful internal combustion engine McLaren has ever built, the sounds it produces will electrify your projects. The 4.0 Litre V8 Twin Turbo McLaren Senna was recorded with eighteen high-quality microphones positioned in and around the car. This included mics fastened inside the engine bay, above the exhausts and positioned inside air intakes. Everything was captured – from the smallest pops and hisses to the loudest whirrs and howls. Trackside material was captured from four microphone rigs positioned along the racetrack.
Four channel ambisonic files were recorded from the interior and trackside perspectives, perfect for surround and VR applications.
What makes the McLaren Senna Sound Library special is that every recorder is timecode synced for simple DAW session reconstruction making it incredibly easy to sync every mic perspective from a chosen manoeuvre.
Delivered unprocessed in 96kHz, 24bit the library contains detail, nuance and offers you full creative freedom.
